2nd May 2020 sees the release of Zee's Summer Collection and within that is her much anticipated The 27 Club Releases featuring: Kurt Cobain, Jim Morrison, Amy Winehouse & Jimi Hendrix.

The rest of the Summer collection features superb 'Zee' treatment portraits of: Frank Sinatra, actor Charlie Hunnam as Jax Teller from Sons Of Anarchy, a new limited editions of Audrey Hepburn & the renowned Heath Ledger portrayal of 'The Joker.'
New to the published art world is Zita Som, an artist known simply as 'Zee' and hailing from the beautiful city of Budapest, one of Europe's cultural capitals. Her artwork is inspired by the Pop Art movement and she has a palpable 'modern Warhol' feel to her canvases.
Having only started in the commercial art work in May 2019, a short eight months later and she has already caused a stir with her January 2020 Debut collection, signing with Essex based Wishbone Art publishers. This is a superb achievement in a highly competitive field, that is the UK published art market.
Her parents where both artists and while in her late teens she left Hungary and moved to London, with her hopes, dreams and artistic aspirations, as well as a typical strong East European work ethic. Having a number of jobs, she always continued to paint and sketch in her spare time.

Like many famous names in the high street art world, Zita is self-taught, and this has allowed tremendous scope for creativity and self-expression as she has never felt restrained by 'art convention.’ Only later on in London did she add to her skill set, studying Interior Design and Digital Art but by then she was already a very skilled artist
One of the many painters of today using colleagues, mixed media and computer technology such as JJ Adams, Monica Vincent & Troika (to name just three), this allowed Zee to output her soul onto paper and canvas in a way this never been previously possible for. Her original art is spectacular both in content and size, typically 44 x 54 inches in their frames and are a tour de force of, demonstrative of her artistic capability

For her Spring 2020 collection, she has centred on famous people with brand and cartoon iconography with classic images of Marilyn Monroe, Freddy Mercury, Princess Diane and Kate Moss. Similar to JJ Adam work such as ‘Eton Mess’ (2019), ‘The Colour Of Money’ is a take a on The Wolf Of Wall Street movie and of capitalism, commercialism and greed - themes that comes up again and again in modern art.
