A SWRF limited edition featuring 'Janelle' in the title has already been released, with 1992’s colourful: 'Janelle And The Volume Of Treasures.'
One might assume therefore that this is the same half-Chinese model Maggie Covenay (who posed in model Cecilia Green’s absence at the time) from that painting, but on closer inspection the face to me is Cecilia.
Janelle here is a beautiful woman sitting on a box & using a turned over wicker basket to balance her leg, as she ties her ballet shoes, wearing red tights and a beautiful white dress.
Russell Flint painted the original of 'Janelle' in 1960 & these prints are taken from that painting.
