Horton displays to us a typical British seaside holiday resort with ice cream vans and a punch and Judy show on the sand which gathers the young children and immediately brings a smile to the viewers face.

This is a real feel good Horton addition and the colours enhance the chirpy mood of the piece. For example the various tones of blues in the sea could almost be from a tropical island abroad...

...but Horton sticking to his roots enables holiday makers across Britain a glimpse into a summer we have all at some point or another experienced.

I don't know about you, but this piece certainly brings back fond memories from my own childhood.
