You probably noticed the Ice Cream Van further down the winding street, just leaving the scene, and the van often appears in Paul's paintings.
At this point I believe the ice cream van is making its third appearance in Paul's limited edition releases!, the previous two where in: 'Love Is Life' and 'In The Summertime.'
One of Paul Horton's popular industrial scenes in the distance, with the smoking chimneys of industry and an urban street full of his well known little terraced houses in the foreground.
The street is also full of children playing and perhaps enjoying their weekend or school holidays; amongst other things they seem to be playing: football, skipping, Hopscotch & a go karting.
What is the young boy on the curb doing, can you see? I need to find a bigger image and take a peek!
