The follow up to last year's 'Capital Sundown,' this time the artist takes a more focused view of London at night!

All eyes have been on the capital in May 2023 with the King Charles Coronation and this is Neil's contribution: ‘Capital Dusk,’ his latest painting of London.

Neil imagines the city at dusk with the electric lights illuminating the streets, high rises, Parliament and even the archways bellow Westminster Bridge. I like his subtle use of black tones to represent buildings & objects with minimal light on them.

You can spend hours just enjoying the colour scheme of the evening sky: with light blues hues, sandy tones and subtle orange paint bringing in the night.

The River Thames itself dances and glistens with countless light reflections, captured effortlessly by Neil’s paint brush. Even Big Ben and the Houses Of Parliament have been a given a golden hue and some plush green uplighting near the clock face!
