Marc Gooderham is a London born artist of some renown, having switched careers to become a professional artist later in life. He has had a lifelong talent for drawing as well as music (he is in a band which practices in his garage!) and is creative by nature.
He paints mostly in charcoal with some brilliance and is well known for his depictions of real places in London including: shops, landmarks, streets and markets. We recently took a commission to paint both Brick Lane’s bagel shop and the road it sits on for a special birthday and the customer was overjoyed at the beautiful finished piece - black and white charcoal with soft gold hues!
Using subtle shadows and tonnes, he is a master at capturing lighting and infusing his paintings with beautiful & vivid colours, in a medium that is hard to master.
Marc has produced a range of limited edition prints and is available for commission through us, as demand for his paintings and his profile continues to grow. He has recently relocated to live in the Brighton area.
