I thought you'd like to see a larger Image of this wonderful New limited edition, which is a hand finished on paper release and is a tribute to 'The Wizard Of Oz.'
Kerry has enjoyed a long running commercial success paying tribute through her art to L. Frank Baum’s book, which was actually called ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’ (1900) and inspired the 1939 movie we all know and love: ‘The Wizard of Oz.’
I am sure Kerry takes inspiration here from the original illustrations by W. W. Denslow which featured in the children fantasy novel.
In this New release, the artist experiments with on paper limited editions finished with metal leaf, which is rather exciting and gives a lovely finish!
Of course, the image depicts Dorothy's companions as per the title: 'The Scarecrow, The Tin-Man and The Cowardly Lion' - perhaps she and her dog Toto look on, just out of scene!
'A heart is not judged by how much you love; but by how much you are loved by others.'
