A bumbling character who is down on his luck, mischievous but good hearted, he was the Mr Bean of his time and elevated London born Chaplin to the most famous film star in the world.

And although the tramp era transitioned from silent to speaking films Chaplin kept him essentially silent, with no dialogue spoken, although in the 'Modern Times' movie he briefly sung in gibberish towards the end! - how very Mr Bean lol!

I love the hot pink and light blue hues Keith has painted with, and Chaplin appears from around the corner with his classic loveable anxious yet impish look!
