Another tour-de-force in animal art by the talented brush of Joe Galindo, this time featuring man’s best friend.
'Betty' is Joe's latest original painting of a beautiful dachshund, known colloquially in the UK as a 'Sausage Dog,' but reminding me of the dog puppets Sweep and Butch from the UK's Sooty TV show, as both were obsessed by Sausages!
Joe manages to capture every nuance of Betty, with his loose impressionist style, including her mouth, realistic nose and the dog’s wonderful eyes, successfully reflecting the gentle soul of this most loyal animal!
Get in touch if you would like to own 'Betty,' or we can actually commission Joe to paint your dog! subject to lead times (no pun intended!).
