'Perfect Pals' is of course sistered with 'Best Buddies' (sculpture & print) & was followed up by 'Big Hugs - Sculpture' in 2023 - I do consider them a little trio of sculptures!
Doug Hyde paints very rarely these heartwarming pictures featuring cats, and so when 'Perfect Pals' came along collectors where over the moon with his character in blue hugging a ginger tom!
Luckily for those that love all pets (and dogs!), Doug released this with 'Best Buddies' allowing you to have two matching pictures in your home!
Doug has created very few pictures and sculptures with cats, some of the most popular where older editions: 'Somebody Loves You' & 'Pride And Joy,' both featuring Jess The Cat (Yes, its the same as Postman Pat's Jess, a black & white cat lol!).
As well as more recent editions such as 'Together Again' (2018), with I am sure the same ginger tom!
