Doug Hyde's latest Summer release featuring the gang going on their annual summer holiday and by George do they seem excited!

Getting into their Citroen car and literally stuffing it to the brim with suitcase’s and fun things for the beach, can you name everything they are carrying? I spotted the green little alien from 'Space Cadets sculpture,' which was a nice nod to the last release in March.

A bright, fresh and vibrant new release to Doug's growing limited edition range and one sure to be a best seller.

The finished outer mounted size is 27.5 x 35.5 inches and is of course portrait size!

This is one of the first portrait orientation Limited Edition prints that Doug has released in quite some time and is very welcome.

It means you the customer can slot the framed print into more spaces and onto more walls at home, not requiring the same width that a landscape one needs!

The colours are beautiful, and the yellow background is both soft and rich, allowing the rest of the colours in the painting to leap out at you!

Doug Hyde always listens to his customers and therefore allows his titles to be framed in alternate coloured frames, essentially to suit your tastes!

June 2019 sees the release of one of Doug's most hotly anticipated sculpture releases called: 'Love Overload.' This the 8th release in the artist's on going vehicle collection and the sculpture has been christened with a number plate that says, 'DH 8.'

There have been many in this range, the first being the dark green coloured mini car ‘Go Faster Stripes - Sculpture’ and aptly that had the number plate 'DH 1.’ It seems even more collectors pay special attention to these and save their pennies to buy into this amazing range of sculptures.

The scene here is a typical Hyde one, the gang are well on their way to a seaside holiday and literally with: two people, several dogs, suit cases, cuddly toys (the green alien!) and rubber rings, have managed to 'Overload' their Citroen 2CV with goodies as they excitedly embark on their adventure.

A large and impressive piece (quite weighty) there is something different to see depending on what angle you look at it; there are nice little touched abound from Doug: whether it be...

...Monty the black dog with red sunglasses on, the driver holding onto the bucket and spade out the window (due to lack of room!) or from the rear: with the little alien green toy from 'Space Cadets - Sculpture' sitting snuggly inside a pink unicorn rubber ring!

This sculpture will sell out and increase in value over time.
