It’s our friends the hedgehog and the mouse from Rural Retreat Collection (from the 2010s) and the two sculptures that accompanies the 2014 releases! – a warm welcome back to these two little fellas.
'Hedge Hugs' is reminisce of ‘Country Dancing’ and the two friends embrace after being away for some time. I remember very well the spikes of Country Dancing and how much work went into hand painting them! - another Doug Hyde labour of love sculpture.
How fitting that this is part of the same Spring 2023 that includes 'Big Hugs - Sculpture' but that features two humans embracing instead lol.
