Awaken Your Senses by Charlotte Atkinson

A number of firsts here for Charlotte: her first new limited edition (paired with 'Knowing') for 2019, first new release in a number of years & I believe the first purely watercolour based print as well - the result is pure delight!

A much lighter than usual, evocative floral mix of an ethereal lady character surrounded by a dancing sea of blooming: flowers, leaves and vines, as you lose track of where the woman starts and the flowers begin.

I love how Charlotte has given her flowing green & red locks of hair, as though she was underwater; she looks very much in the vein of 'The Green Man' from Celtic & Pagan traditions.
