Alexnader Millar's newly released Bronze sculpture, which stands at 15 inches tall, depicts a charming and endearing scene, as do all his sculptures; a gentleman riding along the cobbles on his bicycle with his adorable pet companion sat closely behind him.
Wearing his signature baggy and misshaped dark suit, the figurative character delves into narrative of the piece and it appears as though he is rushing home after a hard day's graft!
This is a unique and exclusive Bronze sculpture to own and the size of it makes more desirable (likely to fit anywhere) whilst still making for a stand out piece of art!
This 'No Walkies For Me' is officially, along with 'Together Forever,' the 4th & 5th Stainless Steel limited editions sculptures to be released by Alexander Millar.
The first three in the series where:
- One Man & His Dog - Stainless Steel (Spring 2009)
- Surprise Surprise - Stainless Steel (Autumn 2009)
- The Angel - Stainless Steel (Autumn 2012)
Originally done as a limited edition on paper, 'No Walkies For Me' would then be immortalised in bronze sculpture format, released in Spring of 2014 before finally deemed popular enough for Alexander to commission it in stainless steel.
These are proving very popular and are generally selling out within a few months from the publisher and demand continues to be high for Millar's sculptures.
