'Ski Haus' translates from German as 'Ski House' and could be any Alpine retreat for ski fanciers, but Todd has concentrated on the apres-ski fun inside!
I personally see this as the follow up release to the bestselling ‘Making Pour Decisions’ (2021): the people are again positioned on the canvas like a circus human pyramid, as you visually make your way up the image; the ski party could all easily be saying 'Cheers!' to the camera.
I really like the light almost neon colours used here, such as: oranges, pinks, yellows and the lush clear blue colour for the sky itself, the smiling faces and the colours themselves instantly lift your mood!
Todd has spent time developing the look of each of the Ski party, imbuing them with a sense of individuality & personality and the result is another wonderful 'must have' Todd White limited edition canvas.
