The mysterious artist known simply as 'The Art Maverick' sees themselves as the embodiment of art counterculture, driven to push back against artistic rules & expectations and painting how they want!
Signing with a national art publisher in November 2023, their work has left a trail blazing impact in galleries throughout the UK in a very short space of time. They work from the same studio as the up & coming contemporary artist ‘Leander.’
As well as being motivated experimenting with various art styles, The Art Maverick continues to use a myriad of techniques and new innovations to create some of today’s most cutting edge paintings & limited editions.
Those familiar with the artist will know his portfolio already features: 'Fabrica' (art printed on Italian velvet fabric) 'Deepcast' (mirrored metal with a 'water' effect finish), 'Liquid Glass' (hand finished glazing that is used in place of regular glass) and 'Shimmerdiscs' (thousands of mosaic styles photographic pieces arranged in front of a printed backdrop) - creating stunning art unique to gallery wall space.
This artistic freedom is ultimately what defines the artists, as they want to draw you in with a level of inquisitive mystery, raising questions such as: what will come next? how have they created this? & how does it make me feel?
The Art Maverick sees themselves as an artistic rebel & trail blazer and ultimately wants you, the audience, to break your own boundaries and start your path of creativity!
