His mother was well versed in an impressive array of arts and crafts, while his father was a talented painter who spent much of her free time to share his love of painting with her three children.
At the age of 10 Roger sadly lost his father, but continued to develop its own arts education. Roger left school when their artistic skills have been so finely perfected that he immediately found a job as an illustrator for publications of the company. At age 20, he and his brother decided to set up a joint study in the heart of Soho. London, in the sixties was a move interesting place to be, and are overwhelmed with work in the fields of design, animation and illustration from the book
Early in the 1970s, Roger relocated to Yorkshire, having never been north of Watford Gap. I have worked here for 10 years as Director of Art until the company he worked took over and he was forced to look at their lives and decide what would be best for him and his family. At that moment he decided to return to the drawing board as he wished more creativity. He now lives in Bath, where the paintings in his own studio overlooking the green fields and can give their full attention to painting for pleasure.
Hutch, now known as a charming creates images that show a string of participation in intriguing situations that capture the imagination of viewers. His unique use of color and shape contemporary provide a backdrop to illustrate his distinctive style.
