Laurence was born in 1965 in London. In 1986 he graduated with honors from Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts, and embarked on a career in design. Initially, he worked for a company specializing in the flooring industry and was responsible for many of their best designs for sale. If you have never been at the Royal Albert Hall or Buckingham Palace, or have taken a trip on the underground in London, it is likely that you have walked into one of their plants! From here Laurence went to work with a team of interior designers, ultimately creating their own design consultancy that has conducted an impressive range of several million pounds of restoration.
In 1996, the first episode of Laurence of the television series from the BBC "Changing Rooms" was broadcast. His great success, and become a man highly respected and admired in their chosen field within a household name. His latest venture is the launch of a portfolio of impressive works of art inspired by his love for art and history of interior design.
