Laurence releases his New series of artwork called Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen's - 'Gardens Of Baroque Delights' collection (2023), his first in nearly 20 years, coinciding with his first fully curated man show of the same name & turning 60 years old. An evocative collection of twelve new pieces including delightful oil paintings and pencil sketches.
It was the Covid19 lockdowns that made this creative man seek new ways of expressing & creating, and this would mark an incredible return to painting & eventually led to the one man exhibition.
Also, very important to Laurence was that it be launched in Cirencester and not London or some international gallery venue, despite immense demand, he chose for it to be his beloved Cotswolds:
'I very much see myself as a part of the long tradition of Artists and designers who have been proud to be Cotswold based'
Living and working in the area, his family & business is here and he finds the picturesque English area enthuses him : ‘…its power to inspire me creatively is something I marvel at every day.’
An depth interview article was released in Cotswold Magazine: ‘Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen on turning 60 and his love of art,’ delving deeper into the man.
Known as a TV interior designer and house make over experience, Llewelyn-Bowen is fully fledged fine artist with a Fine Art degree from the former Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts, and even as a schoolboy he loved art and needlework!
Laurence of course rose to national fame on BBC's version of 'Changing Rooms' (1996-2004) as the designer and later lead presenter!
Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, is of course a famed UK interior designer and celebrity artist. His design approach often fuses contemporary minimalism with the glamor of baroque, and his enormous popularity has established its status as a fashionista amongst the British public.

In 1986 he graduated with honours from Camberwell School of Arts and Crafts and embarked on a career in design. From there, Laurence went to work with a team of interior designers, ultimately creating their own consultancy with an impressive portfolio of designs and multi-million pound restorations.
In 1996, the first episode of television series BBC "Changing Rooms" was broadcast, featuring Lawrence as one of the designers, and went on to huge popularity, making him a household name.
His first collection of limited editions from the 2000s where highly successful and ‘sold out’ and the art was inspired by his love of Fine Art & the history of design.
