Vintage tractor & farming artist Graham Chambers was born in Hull in 1953. Working in the printing industry from the age of 16, he was involved in all aspects production, including fine art printing for many some famous artists apparently! and it gave him an understanding of the creation and commercial aspect of art production.
During 1993, his daughters bought him his first watercolour paints and a pair of N°. 3 round sable brushes & this was the beginning of Graham’s journey into creating & selling his much loved artwork.
After spending many years helping his wife Sue in her hobby of breeding and showing Border Collie dogs, they learned to work in these wonderful sheep dogs in the North Yorkshire countryside - surrounded by tractors and old Land Rovers - and this really inspired him to paint what those scenes and tell stories.
During 1996 after being laid off from the printing industry, he put his skills & confidence to the test and decided to become a full time artist, traveling around the country to various craft shows and country events selling his art. The response was fantastic! and Graham has built up a strong following for his originals and prints, including limited editions.
His art has been sold far and wide including to: the USA, Canada, Netherlands, Australia and Ireland, with original paintings shipped to customers as far as New Zealand!
