We are pleased to launch the 'Emma Gibbons - Spring Collection 2021' ❤️, the artist's largest series to date and featuring (so far) 62 variants of New Originals and 'Studio Print' editions. Experimenting further with her Hand Painted Pills to create her Originals, she has now shown her versatility with neon painted canvases, which translate brilliantly into vibrant giclee limited editions.

**Interview with Emma Gibbons in her studio (2021):
The artist has experienced an explosion in popularity over last year (2020), despite Covid19, and her two recreatable (varying coloured pills) Originals: 'Addiction No.5' and 'Extra Addiction No.5' are now officially retired and are available only while stocks last. The synergy of 'Pills' and popular Fashion Brands has really connected with the art buying public, much in the way artist Hayley Goodhead has merged similar Branded logos and Wildlife!
Beautiful, unique pictures on the macro level and yet on the micro level, the artwork have been placed together with painstaking hours painting hundreds and hundreds of small pills, something the artist must find therapeutic!
My absolute favourites amongst her range are those featuring the luminous/ glow in the dark pills such as this version of 'Absolutely Wasted' and the Pacman Series Originals that features a glow in the dark 'Inky' the ghost, scary! lol. - 7th March 2021
Emma releases the 'Absolutely Wasted' range of original wall sculptures, framed bottles of vodka looking like Absolute Vodka bottles (with optics!) and her trademark painted Pills. These are an immediate talking point for your home or office knowing each original was carefully crafted by Emma herself, painting every single pill! - 14th October 2020
Most famous in galleries for her Channel No.5 inspired series of originals: 'Addiction No.5' & 'Extra Addiction No.5' (the same but simply larger); Emma has also released silkscreens and originals of the famous 'Keep Calm And Carry On' meme, all of which have proved best sellers pre and post the 2020 lockdown.
Emma’s art has created a splash in high street gallery windows, instantly recognisable she produces labour intensive art from hand created miniature elements, including: torpedo-shape pills, shot-bottles, sweets & various other miniature glassware.

As you can see from her artwork, Emma likes to 'mix up' her materials and as we say in the trade uses 'mixed media' such as glitter, inks, painting and various glazes to create her eye-catching art.
Studying in London, the artist chose Art & Illustration at higher education and studied at two prestigious venues: a degree at London College Of Print (known since 1996 as London College of Communication) and a masters at Camberwell College of Art (part of the University of the Arts London).
Since graduating Emma has worked with some of the UK’s leading artists including The Chapman Brothers and Damien Hirst for nearly 7 years – including being a painter at the ‘Fucking Hell’ exhibition (2008) & ‘For The Love Of God’ skull sculpture exhibit (2007) with the respective artists.
**Short video showcasing the 'Addiction No.5' and 'Extra Addiction No.5' - Originals series:
Travelling plays an important part in Emma's journey and claiming to be descendant of Cornish Pirates (we haven’t confirmed this with her!) she has always had the travel bug and has travelled extensively around 3 continents: Europe, Asia and South America.
She feels this has literally brought a quality to her work of ‘exploration’ and as passion for colours, something she is particularly fascinated by and she views each painting or creation as a storybook adventure and a wonder to explore!
Emma is now lives in Devon and has a studio at home overlooking the ocean.
She has some famous clients including comedian Dawn French and also the DJ and TV presenter Zoe Ball.
Having had exhibitions in her hometown of Devon as well as Cornwall and London, after signing with Wishbone publishers in Essex in 2020, she plans to make numerous appearances around the UK.
Since spring 2020, Emma is now in the Wishbone Publishing stable of contemporary artists.
