A skilled landscape artist

Danny Abrahams is a British landscape artist who blends his brilliant country scenes with imagery of people and animals in natural environments.

Known for his artwork showing the seasons and vistas such as forests, country walks & lakes, I would add that he is equally talented at painting the sky as he is an entire vista! He effortlessly brings his amazing talent for oil painting and gives his imagery a naive feel, usually through the wildlife or the people he will depict within the scenes, or through other subtle elements.

Danny’s surprising artistic journey

You may be surprised to hear some of the artist's journey. Danny is a self-taught artist and a Yorkshireman, previously an active musician in a band. When the band finished, he was searching for a creative outlet and by chance his girlfriend gifted him his very first set of paints - he was into his 30s at the time! - and he took to painting immediately.

Danny's art soon began to gain recognition & he was signed by a UK publisher in 2018; his first series of published limited editions established him as a household name in the UK!

Childhood influence within his painting

Danny has fond memories of growing up in the 1980s. Born 1977 in Bradford, his childhood was filled with adventures, innocence and staying out till dark, as many boys did! He likes to bring such memories out in his paintings. Perhaps that is why he is so skilled at capturing nature and the outdoors.

What is he up to now?

Today he works with a new art publishing company, who distribute his art to galleries up and down the UK. His original paintings continue to sell consistently from gallery wall space, as his profile grows in the UK & internationally.
