The artist then moved to Bournville Art College, where he studied for a BTEC National Diploma in Art and Design, which specializes in Art, 1994-1995. He was awarded a BA Hons 2 (i) in Arts from the University of Wolverhampton in 1998.
Since graduating, Reuben Colley has become recognized as a major talent in the world of contemporary art. Green joined Washington as an artist in the fall of 1999 and has since published numerous original limited-edition silkscreens. His originals have also been displayed at the Spring and Autumn Fair, selling out within the first day.
Becoming a full-time artist in 2000, he has enjoyed sell-out success of his work, with his original oil exhibited throughout the country with great success.
At present, getting ready for his first big spectacle of a man who was held at the Halcyon Gallery in October 2001, which will focus on their reflections of Birmingham. Earlier this year, he also received the prestigious' Coming Up and Publication Award 'at the Arts Guild of Commerce.
