Meeting by chance the model in the pictures 'Tabitha' in a restaurant, a confident young lady, sassy and with long blonde hair, Emma approached her and asked to photograph her for some new paintings.
Once she came into the studio Tabitha has returned to her natural red locks and was concerned Emma would not use her but instead Emma loved her hair and themed the four prints around the colour change itself and ‘Born Of Fire’ was coined.
On completion the model saw the artwork and wept, realising she herself had used blonding her own hair as a shield to protect herself and the artwork had inspired her to connect with her own inner confidence.
Emma Grzonkowski is known affectionately by friends and in art circles as 'Emma G.'

7th February 2014 announced the launch of Emma's Spring 2014 - Collection, four stunning new additions to her portfolio.
Emma grew up in Crewe, Chester, in the Northwest of England and in a typical artist beginning story she was sketching and creating from the moment she could hold a crayon.
Her parents noticed early on her innate need to create and her father Steven would encourage her to pursue this. Steven himself would spend many a day creating drawings for her to try and recreate and a young Emma would plaster these over her bedroom, and then copying them as close as possible with her own hand; she was highly motivated to spend hours at the task before it was ‘just right’ and thus she began to hone her skills.
Excelling in Art at school, she went on to study Art & Design at Sir John Dean's Sixth Form College as well Media and Theatre studies - unsurprising since her painting are imbued with emotion & drama.
But it was at this time she realised art was her true calling and her passion lay almost fully with the creative process.
**An insight into the artist, her studio from 2011 and set to music: 'Let the Sun Shine' by Labrinth & Act Like You Know (Dubstep Mix) by Nero (UK):
While still at University studying Art in 2008, Emma took the bold move of presenting her art to a local gallery manager, who impressed would show it to the owners; to her great surprise they came back an offered her an endorsement to paint over 20 paintings during the following year.
In late 2009 this original gallery hosted her debut one woman art show and with her original paintings selling out on the night, she was instantly signed to contact from the publishing house and so would begin 10 years as successful published and represented artist.
Her work has appeared in exclusive galleries up and down the British Isles in the ensuing decade, her mysterious and evocative paintings of women offering delight and creating questions in the mind of her adoring public. Bold colours and multi-spectrum light reflections, cut through the lines between reality, illusion, and dreams.
After losing someone dear to her, the only thing that kept the artist focused and inspired was the need to create and the urge to continue her unique paintings. Favouring a vigorous and frantic manner meant that the artist was free to express herself and allow for a journey of inner peace and discovery to begin. Emotions and her self inner being are poured onto each canvas and this is quite a physical process as much as it is a mental one.
Her subject is predominately herself, due to the nature of the work and this brilliantly sits alongside an abstract, expressive background, whilst this contrasts with the literal figure of herself in each canvas.
Taking photographs of herself and playing digitally with their colour then enables to artist to explore light and composition, which then forms the bases of her works. Textures also play a huge part in the artist's creative process and this gives more depth and dynamics to the artist's pictorial space. Not allowing a thick application of water based acrylics enables the artist to create her signature bleeding of the canvas and this is the most exciting part of expressing her inner thoughts.
